  • Square foot costs are usually a very inaccurate way of judging the project costs and should not be relied upon. More times than not, sub-tier contractors may throw out square foot costs to attract a client, but after the project is said and done the final square foot cost is much higher than their proposal. Custom homes are too complicated to be able to safely rely on square foot costs.
